Looking for a breakfast place, look no further. This is the place. I like to be comfortable when I have breakfast, somewhere I don't have to move my chair because the place is too small. Where the food is warm, fast and absolutely tasty. Came in and ordered the best beignets--so great I could do that and coffee and be satisfied. I ordered my go to, chicken fried steak, eggs, hash brown meal. OMG! Ok, there are hash browns, and then there are the ones that you imagine--the perfect ones, soft inside and crunchy outside!! Yum yum yum. Service great--and the music is perfect. Go, you will not be disappointed. Will come back and try the lunch. Large portion sizes, coffee bar and comfortable seating.

20 minutes walk from my hotel, in town for business. Becca was our waitress, college student, with a great attitude. I had the chorizo omelette, but we started with fresh homemade Beignets. Awesome! Really nice atmosphere, good food at a reasonable price. Will definitely come back.

Great food and service. I would recommend this excellent restaurant. Ordered the country scramble just delicious . My wife had the club sandwich croissant also good. My daughter had a half order of biscuits and gravy that she couldn't finish.

I love the new location of Moon's Kitchen! The view is wonderful. Most of the people in our party for breakfast could find something on the menu they loved but I had trouble because I'm a light eater. I wish Moon's would add a few lighter choices to the menu like steel-cut oats or a side order choice menu.

BEST BENEDICT IVE EVER HAD. THE CHORIZO and pico. they weren't lying when they said best benedict around. 10/10. The vibes are great too! Very old school and homey.

Pleasantly surprised to find this gem of a diner in downtown Boise. Came with a few friends looking for a breakfast spot, and this surpassed all expectations. Interior decor is fun and intriguing; quintessential Americana, complete with 80s ballads as a soundtrack to our food experience. We ordered a variety of sweet and savory items that were all delicious. Started with the beignets -- amazing. Wasn't planned but recommended by our server. Service was excellent. Food was incredible. What's not to love?

If anyone is walking by the boarded up exterior of the tiny hole in the wall Moon's Kitchen Cafe, do not be discouraged by the appearance. Moon's is hands down, one of the best breakfast restaurants in Boise. Period. From the ever attentive servers, laid back country charm, and some of the best likes shakes around, that would be reason enough to dine here. But, there is so much more. Here are some of the things that make this a five star spot: the homemade English muffins, homemade Hollandaise sauce, house made warm beignets, stunningly perfect drip coffee, orange juice that is squeezed fresh as it is ordered, the best red potatoes anywhere, fresh cut fruit, and the great variety of delights on the extensive menu. Give Moon's a try. You will not be disappointed. Note that as of this writing, they are not open on Tuesday or Wednesday, and close at 2PM.

This place was definitely top notch for staff friendliness, food and atmosphere. Staff were helpful with choosing the right meal for breakfast. They also hand squeezed us orange juice right there on the spot and they're French beignets were the best I've ever had. Decor was amazing too! Worth the stop in downtown Boise!

Stopped in while visiting family in Boise. Waited about 20 minutes for a party of five to be seated on a Sunday. Our server was on point & we snacked on beignet while ordering our breakfast. It's been ages since I've had a Monte Cristo & the kitchen did not disappoint! Other items ordered were Moon Babies, Garden omelette, & the salmon eggs Benedict. Lively atmosphere, friendly diners, great front & back of house staff!

If you love homey breakfast places, come here! This place gives me positive vintage vibes with limitless possibilities! The homemade beignets are a must have! So glad the waitress asked me if I wanted to try them! They are light, crispy, fluffy, and not too oily. The honey butter on the side compliments the tasty little treats so well! All the compotes are amazing! The moon babies were amazing, especially with the raspberry compote! I was not a fan of the hollandaise sauce but everyone I was with was! I felt it to be too rich for me. Only thing I didn't like is I felt really unhealthy after eating here haha. Maybe that was my fault though. Read the signs on the wall, they'll make you laugh :)
